Colombian emeralds

Market leader
Colombia accounts for roughly 70% of the global emerald supply.

Geological uniqueness
Unlike emeralds from other regions, Colombian emeralds form in hydrothermal deposits, not magmatic rock.

Unmatched chemistry
High levels of chromium and vanadium, and very low iron content, give these stones their vivid green colour and unique ability to hold light.

Colour variety
Shades range depending on origin for example, Muzo stones are deep and warm; Chivor tends to be brighter and more transparent.

What makes our emeralds exceptional
100% natural: No dyes or artificial colour enhancements.
Exclusively Colombian origin: From Muzo, Coscuez, Cunas, Chivor, and other deposits in Boyacá, Colombia.
Light to moderate oil treatment: Untreated (no-oil) stones also available.
Synthetic balms used for clarity enhancement: Preferred over traditional cedarwood oil.
No hardened resins or “perma”: We never alter the stone’s natural integrity.
Certification & transparency

All stones over 1 carat are automatically certified. Certification for smaller stones is available on request.
Our primary certification partner is CDTEC Gem Lab (gemlabcdtec.com), a respected Colombian laboratory.
All exports are inspected and approved by FEDESMERALDAS (National Federation of Colombian Emeralds), confirming the stone's origin.
If desired, clients may request third-party certification from the lab of their choice. Shipping, insurance, and certification costs will be quoted transparently.

We believe in giving our clients full confidence in what they’re purchasing:
